To ensure you are fully settled from your first day, please arrange to bring or purchase the following items upon arrival: Personal Hygiene Supplies: Please ensure you have an adequate supply of soap, shampoo, toothpaste, towels, and other daily toiletries. ​Bedding Essentials: You will need to bring your own mattress, pillows, bed sheets, and blankets. ​Room Security: While the hostel provides the primary door mechanism, we strongly recommend that you bring a high-quality padlock for your room. ​Additional Recommended Items: You may also want to bring a power strip (surge protector), a reusable water bottle, a small desk lamp, and laundry supplies (detergent and a laundry bag).

All shortlisted students registered for industrial training at NIT Jamshedpur under DHTE Jharkhand are hereby directed to immediately log in and complete their profile on this portal.

It has been observed that many students are unnecessarily calling or visiting the Institute campus regarding the Internship. It has been requested to visit the website regularly for any type of updates.

The shortlisted candidate must report on 01/06/2026 after 10:00 AM. No accommodation will be provided before 01/06/2026. Please bring your Aadhar Card, College I'd Card, Stamp Size Color Photograph and Internship Request Letter from your institute. Without these documents, your candidature may be cancelled.

No charges/Fess will be taken by NIT Jamshedpur from students.

No accommodation will be provided to students residing near NIT Jamshedpur (Jamshedpur, Adityapur, Gamaharia, Kandra, etc.). Students must bring their Aadhaar card.

All applicants and shortlisted candidates are informed that this programme is exclusively intended for students enrolled in Government Polytechnic and Government Women’s Polytechnic institutes under Jharkhand. Students from private institutes or non-eligible institutions are not covered under this training scheme. If any ineligible application is identified during verification, it may be cancelled at any stage without further notice. Students are advised to ensure that their institute details are accurate and match official records.

All shortlisted students are required to log in to the portal and update their laptop availability status in the Login & Profile section. Please select whether you have a personal laptop available during the training period. This information is mandatory for batch planning, lab allocation, and session arrangements. Students should complete this update at the earliest to avoid delays in onboarding and academic scheduling.

All students on the shortlist are required to update their hostel accommodation preference on this portal without delay. On the Results page, sign in with your registered email and mobile number, then choose whether you need hostel accommodation at NIT Jamshedpur or not. If you select Yes, you must also choose your gender (Male, Female, or Other) so that hostel allotment can be planned correctly. If you select No, no gender entry is needed. You may change your choice until the reporting deadline using the same Results login. Students who do not complete this step may face delays in hostel allocation and on-campus reporting.
